Things parents ask before they visit.
Most SG families already spend $400 – $700/month on student care, then add $150 – $300 per tuition subject on top. GenieHouse replaces both. It provides five afternoons a week, all 4 subjects, daily homework correction and a personalised platform at a founding rate of $600/month with no extra charges. It is not just cheaper in many cases. It also covers the time between sessions that tuition misses entirely.
The academic expertise lives on the platform. GenieClass content is built by specialists in the MOE curriculum, GenieSmart adapts to each child's errors in real time and GenieAsk handles concept explanations. Our teachers guide children through the platform, keep them on track, manage the homework correction loop and build the relationship that makes a child want to come back every day. Every Geniebook CAMPUS teacher goes through structured training before working with students.
GenieHouse runs from 1:30 PM, after school ends and lunch. A healthy tea break snack is provided at 4:30 PM. Lunch is not provided. During school holiday mornings (optional morning care from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM), children may bring their own lunch or purchase nearby. Teachers can assist with this at a separate charge.
GenieHouse is open during all MOE school holidays, including the June, September and November/December breaks. This is a significant difference from tuition, which typically pauses during holidays. The optional morning care service (7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, $20 per day before GST) is available during holidays for families who need full day coverage.
A standard student care supervises your child and gets homework done but nobody checks whether the answers are correct. Errors go uncorrected and compound over time. GenieHouse corrects every piece of homework via GenieAsk, tracks error patterns and feeds those patterns back into each child's personalised practice. You also get a monthly progress report for each child, which no standard student care provides.
Give written notice by the 1st of the month for the following month's withdrawal. One calendar month's notice is required. The deposit ($654 incl. GST) is fully refundable upon withdrawal per the terms of your enrolment agreement. We'd also ask for a conversation first, as a few adjustments often to the pathway solve what feels like a fit issue.
Each GenieHouse cohort runs a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 students per session. We maintain enough teachers per session to allow meaningful individual attention, especially during the homework correction and GenieAsk support windows.
