Here is a tentative guide to the Ministry of Education (MOE) school holidays in Singapore for 2025.

1 May 2025, Thursday - Labour Day
12 May 2025, Monday - Vesak Day
Term 3:
6 June 2025, Friday - Hari Raya Haji
9 August 2025, Saturday- National Day
Term 4:
20 October 2025, Monday- Deepavali
25 December 2025, Thursday - Christmas Day

11 August 2025, Monday (Tentative): Day after National Day
5 September 2025, Friday (Tentative): Teacher’s Day

PSLE exam periods
Parents of Primary School students should be aware of the PSLE examination periods. That's because students in Primary 1 to 5 might have days off during these times.
During the PSLE Marking Exercise, all primary school students will have days off.

Singapore international school holidays
International schools in Singapore often have different holiday schedules. Here are the typical breaks for the 2025 academic year. Do note that each school will have a slightly different schedule, so refer to the individual school calendars for more details:
14 December 2024 – 5 January 2025: 2024 Year-end School Holidays
29 January – 2 February 2025: 2025 Chinese New Year School Holidays
24 March – 4 April 2025: 2025 Spring/Easter Break
2025 Summer Break, from 13 June 2025
Long weekends 2025
In 2025, there are tentatively five 3-day long weekends. We will update this as and when the official dates are allowed:
Hari Raya Puasa: Mar 29-31 (Sat-Mon)
Good Friday: Apr 18-20 (Fri-Sun)
Vesak Day: May 10-12 (Sat-Mon)
Hari Raya Haji: Jun 6-8 (Fri-Sun)
Deepavali: Oct 18-20 (Sat-Mon)
When to take leave to get the most number of holidays for the least number of leaves
For an extended 4 or 5-day weekend, consider taking leave on these occasions:
January: New Year's Day, Chinese New Year
May: Labour Day
December: Christmas
