SEAB approved list of scientific calculators for PSLE 2025

Make sure your calculator is on the MOE-approved list ahead of time. That way, you can focus on prepping for Paper 2 without stressing about finding the right calculator at the eleventh hour.

Important guidelines for using calculators in PSLE 2025
- The calculator that your child uses should have:
- \(+\), \(-\), \(\div\), \( \times \) symbols.
- The fractional function should retain fractions in the form of '\(a / b\)' and '\(a \) \(b/c\)'.
- Square root and cube root functions.
- Provide value of Pi.
- The calculator must not make noise.
- It should only have a visual display.
- It should not be programmable.
- Students should ensure that the calculator is in working condition, as malfunctions will not be considered a justification for special consideration.
- No sharing of calculators will be allowed in PSLE.
- The calculator should not have the function of exporting or storing the data on cards, tapes, or other plug-in modules.
- It should not be able to share data or connect with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or any other sharing network.
- It should not have mathematical symbols, conversion tables, or any other instructions that cannot be removed on it.
- The original model and brand name must be clearly visible.
- Any previous calculations need to be erased before bringing the calculator in the exam room.
- If a calculator has been approved for previous PSLE, but is not featured in this list, it is still allowed.
